1De in deze norm beschreven coatingsystemen zijn niet bestemd voor gebruik op buizen die zullen worden gebogen nadat het coating- of bekledingsysteem is aangebracht.

2De coating- en bekledingssystemen kunnen bestaan uit een van de volgende drie soorten:

- een epoxyprimar van twee delen, chemisch gehard, en een of meer lagen van een andere epoxy-topcoat van twee delen, chemisch gehard

- twee of meer lagen van dezelfde twee-delige, chemisch geharde epoxycoating, in welk geval de eerste laag als primaire coating wordt beschouwd

- een enkele laag van een twee-delige, chemisch geharde epoxycoating.
